Global Esports Federation releases key visuals for the flagship event

The Global Esports Federation approved the Games-time brand for the Istanbul 2022 Global Esports Games as we draw towards the flagship event. The brand identity and event key visual were presented during GEF’s Coordination Commission and offer a clear message of symbolism, energy, and importance through design.
The logo, wordmark, and key visual for the second edition of the Global Esports Games reference the iconic Bosphorus Bridge in Istanbul - one of the two bridges that span the Bosphorus Strait - connecting the European and Asian sides of Istanbul.
Commonly known as a symbol for connection, the importance of the bridge as a main visual for the GEG22, references the GEF’s motto #worldconnected.
The event logo reinforces this connection with a unifying, optimistic curved line symbolizing a bridge connecting the world under the wordmark of the Global Esports Games 2022. This a clear message and a reminder of how the Global Esports Games seeks to strengthen the #worldconnected community.

The GEG22 will be staged from December 15-17, 2022 at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel &
Conference Center – in the heart of the city. GEFcon – the GEF’s global convention of thought leaders, and GEFestival – the dynamic celebration of esports, entertainment and youth culture will cap a week of community celebration.
