The Global Esports Games, the flagship event of the Global Esports Federation, returned for its third edition in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 12–16 December 2023.
Riyadh 2023 brought together over 950 athletes from more than 100 nations and territories for a global, multi-title esports competition at the highest level. Beyond the competition, GEG23 showcased the energy of esports through the GEFestival—a vibrant celebration of culture, entertainment, and community.
Uniting a truly #worldconnected community, the Global Esports Games continues to demonstrate the power of esports to bring the world together.
About the Titles
GEFcon23 in Riyadh convened global leaders, innovators, and industry experts to explore the future of esports. Through a dynamic programme of panels and discussions, the platform examined key themes including technological innovation, inclusivity and accessibility, and esports’ growing global impact.
From advancements in immersive broadcasting and performance optimisation to fostering diverse and inclusive gaming communities, GEFcon23 highlighted how esports continues to drive connection, opportunity, and positive change worldwide—culminating in a high-level fireside chat on the future of the ecosystem.
