The Global Esports Federation promotes the credibility, legitimacy and prestige of esports. We convene athletes, players and industry leaders together on one inclusive platform.
With a mission to cultivate competition along with developing communities and the connection between sport, esports and technology. The GEF cultivates the authentic voice for the worldwide esports movement.
Our Focus
The GEF prioritizes the development of an inclusive, safe, healthy and sustainable Esports ecosystem with a particular focus on responsible gaming, holistic wellness, fair play, education and career pathways for players and athletes.
We encourage and promote innovation, showcasing the responsible use of technological development including: AI, VR, AR, MR, IoT & 5G.
We celebrate the universality of global esports through the staging of international, continental, and events throughout the year. The annual Global Esports Games is the flagship event for the Global Esports Federation.
Global Esports Cup
The Global Esports Cup is a symbol of the Global Esports Federation’s flagship property, the Global Esports Games.
The crystal bedrock builds the foundation with the five shards representing the world’s five continents and our five core values; equality, fair play, diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
The Global Esports Cup is capped with the #worldconnected globe rising to the top.
Our Core Objectives

Encourage and support the establishment of esports federations, establishing relevant standards, guidelines and regulations.

Establishment of an athlete/player commission, with a focus on athlete wellness, development of standards for inclusive fair play and athlete career support.

Development of governance structures and guidelines for the Global Esports Federation.

Convene and stage esports competitions, conventions and inspiring educational development programs.
