Ninjas in Pyjamas caps an exciting weekend tournament, takes home the Global Esports Tour trophy
After a weekend of intense LIVE competition between 8 pro-teams at the Season 2022 kick-off of the Global Esports Tour, Swedish team Ninjas in Pyjamas emerged victorious at the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive LAN tournament. The champion narrowly beat German team MOUZ in the grand finals, taking home the platinum trophy and the lion’s share of the US$250,000 prize pool.
The GET Dubai was produced in partnership with Esports Management Group (EMG) and was staged alongside the EMG 2022 Festival at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Dubai’s biggest gaming festival, EMG 2022 Festival attracted over 8,000 spectators to experience the thrilling esports action and gamer culture over the weekend of June 10-11.
