The Global Esports Federation collaborates with Jinseki International School (JINIS), the first elementary boarding style school in Jinseki, Hiroshima, and Japan eSports Union (JeSU), to host an Esports Day. The JINIS Esports Day was attended by 40 students between the first and fifth grade, and over 20 facilitators comprising teachers, members from the GEF Youth Council, and JeSU.

The JINIS Esports Day focused on creating a safe and healthy gaming and esports environment for young children. The program uses gaming and esports to teach skills including problem-solving, decision-making, multi-tasking, communication, and teamwork.

"We congratulate everyone on the occasion of the first, JINIS Esports Day. As we think to the future, and the future of work, education is the key. Under the leadership of our colleague, GEF Board Member and President of JeSU, Hideki Okamura, Japan has always been a leading light on the global landscape. Japan, a member of the GEF Education Alliance (G10) with the 10 most developed esports nations on earth is once again guiding the future of tomorrow, today. Congratulations to Minako Suematsu and the entire community at Jinseki International School for being a great partner in this pioneering initiative. Welcome to #worldconnected."
Chris Chan, President, Global Esports Federation.

The program included activities held over several weeks culminating with the Esports Day on June 17, 2022. Among the activities was a lecture for teachers by Dr. Dikaia Chatziefstathiou on Safe Sport and Safeguarding. The lecture aimed at creating a space and opportunity for teachers to learn more about the impact of the internet, and ways to encourage a safe and healthy environment for youth.

The school hosted a Nutrition Day on June 3, 2022, led by Mrs. Nakajima on how our nutritional intake could affect eyesight, hearing, as well as physical and mental health. Chef Keisuke Matsushima, a Michelin Star chef and advisor to JINIS greeted the students with a message on the importance of food and nutrition. The students were tasked to create a guest menu for the Esports Day.

The Mental and Physical Health Day on June 16, 2022 included activities for students to learn problem-solving, multi-tasking, communication, and teamwork skills relating to mental and physical health. The Esports Day offered the students the opportunity to play and game in a safe and healthy environment.
